Who I am

Inspired by my unconventional and entrepreneurial mother, a Chinese immigrant, creative thinker, and former dancer, I have always been drawn to paths that blend artistry and impact. Witnessing her journey from the storytelling of dance to building her businesses gave me a deep appreciation for creative expression and empathetic connection.

My early passion for ballet, influenced by my mother's dance background, taught me the power of nonverbal communication and the beauty of making the demanding look effortless. This experience opened my eyes to the world where movement and art could create emotion and connection with anyone, even a stranger in the audience. 

While my path strayed from ballet, my love for storytelling and art deepened. Discovering advertising felt like a natural evolution, a space where I could blend my inherent creativity with my strong desire to connect with people and see them as they are. As dance tells stories through movement, advertising allows me to craft narratives through visuals, messages, and innovative ideas.

Empathy, another important characteristic I learned from my mother, is at the heart of my creative process. I have the ability to naturally associate ideas and emotions, allowing me to understand different perspectives and create work that truly resonates. My approach to advertising is rooted in listening, understanding people's needs, and communicating raw but impactfully. 

Qualities like charisma in communicating ideas, empathy, and a visionary mindset focused on innovative solutions drive my work. I thrive on building strong connections and developing solutions that people can relate to. Beyond these core traits, I deeply value perseverance, gratitude, and continuous growth. My opportunities to travel have sparked a constant desire to learn, overcome challenges, and evolve, shaping how I approach personal and professional endeavors. Each day, I'm eager to be better than the person I was yesterday, and this approach to life and my work allows me to grow, learn, and make a meaningful impact continuously.
